With the Elgato Cam Link 4K, you’ll no longer need a separate webcam if you already have a high-end DLSR, camcorder, or action cam. Stream a game of Call of Duty with your DLSR camera aimed at you, while the Cam Link provides a smooth image for your viewers. You can record in the highest quality, which is 4K at 30 fps or 1080p at 60 fps, depending on the type of content you’re creating. Is your memory card about to fill up in the middle of a stream? No problem, since the Cam Link stores your footage directly on your hard drive. That way, you won’t run the risk of your footage not being saved.Note: your camera needs to have an HDMI output (micro, mini, or regular) in order to connect to the Cam Link 4K. Also check whether you can deactivate any overlays and power-saving modes. To test whether everything works properly, you could first connect your camera to an HDMI screen or TV using HDMI.
