The Google Nest Cam is a smart security camera that you can place indoors and outdoors. This IP camera works on a rechargeable battery, so you can even install it in a place without a socket. If you want it to stay powered on, leave it plugged in. You do need a special cable for outdoor use, which isn’t included. It records in Full HD and has HDR. This gives you sharp images, even against bright backlight. The camera distinguishes between people, animals, and vehicles. In addition, you can easily set activity zones. If the WiFi fails, the camera has enough internal memory to continue recording for 1 hour. Pair the Nest Cam with other Google Nest products to make them work together. This way, you can watch live footage via your Nest Hub, for example.Note: you need a Nest Aware subscription to use all options, such as storing and sharing footage. This costs € 5 per month. You can connect this camera to the Google Home app.
