The Google Nest Protect V2 Battery keeps you informed about smoke development or carbon monoxide leaks in your home anytime, anywhere. As soon as this smoke and carbon monoxide detector is mounted to your ceiling, you can control it using the Nest app on your smartphone, tablet, or smartwatch. When the detector detects smoke or carbon monoxide, it’ll notify you right away via a 70dB female voice. This voice tells you exactly which part of your house is dangerous. The apps also keeps you notified of a low battery level and sensor outages. A green light turns on as soon as the motion sensor detects movement in the dark. The Google Nest Protect V2 (battery) runs on 6 AA batteries, which are included by default.
